Would you like to get small animal Veterinary ECC CPD while supporting free veterinary education in developing countries?

Would you like to learn while allowing others with less resources to learn too? Look no further!

In 2014 I started working with the World Veterinary Association as part of a new initiative to provide up-to-date high quality veterinary educational resources to veterinary staff in 'developing' countries for free.

Thumbs up

"I am a veterinary surgeon from Romania. I would like to thank you for all the great education material which you generously make available for free for us. I personally truly appreciate your way of thinking."

How does it work?

I create online learning material related to small animal Emergency and Critical Care that the WVA then makes available to all of the 80+ National Veterinary Associations for which it is the umbrella organisation. At my discretion I am able to make this material FREE FOR INDIVIDUALS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES such as Nigeria, Sri Lanka and so on. Although internet access can be unstable in some of these countries, users can download the material and then consume it offline.

The online training portal that the WVA is using does however allow me to charge for my learning material in a separate category of countries classified as 'developed'. In other words countries where veterinary medicine is more developed and veterinary staff typically have more financial resources to afford a modest fee, including CPD budgets provided by employers. I hope that being able to charge for my learning material in at least some countries will mean that I am able to afford to continue to dedicate the time to creating this online content. As demonstrated by one of my other websites, veterinary free open access medical education (vetFOAMed) is a real passion of mine but I do need to generate some income from this new initiative to help pay the bills!

I hope that seems reasonable to you? I would ask that if you are looking for some small animal ECC CPD, please consider my training material BELOW OR AT THIS LINK and thereby help me to continue to help the WVA in offering free education globally to those less able to afford it.

NOTE: This continuing education material would certainly count towards RCVS CPD hours (UK) and most likely CE credits (USA). You will be able to download a certificate of completion once you have taken the course including the multiple choice questions. Any problems with this, please let me know.
